The title of the conference, "Lead the Shift: Value Wins," refers to the updated definition of a project by the PMI: "A temporary initiative in a unique context undertaken to create value."
Of course, the concept of value existed in projects even before PMI introduced it into its definition, and it was already reflected, for example, in the PRINCE2 definition of a project: "A temporary organization that is created for the purpose of delivering one or more business products according to an agreed business case."...
In any case, beyond theory, the conference was extremely interesting and useful, featuring many presentations and discussions by experienced project practitioners.
I particularly noted the discussion on PMOs, as well as the presentations from the Rio–Antirrio Bridge and Hellenic Cables (Cenergy Group), with impressive videos showcasing the highly demanding projects they undertake!
Additionally, the discussion on Artificial Intelligence could not but be engaging and thought-provoking...
