The PMP certification is valid for 3 years. Renewal requires 60 PDUs (Professional Development Units) within the three-year cycle.
The PMP 2026 exam consists of 180 questions (170 scored + 10 pretest) over 240 minutes (4 hours), with 2 breaks of 10'. Question types: multiple choice, multiple response, drag-and-drop, matching and case study with scenarios.

Yes. If you hold an active CAPM® certification, the requirement for 35 contact hours of training is automatically waived.
Yes. The exam includes 2 optional breaks of 10 minutes each. The first appears after completing the first 60 questions and the second after the next 60. The timer stops during breaks.
