As the APMG Accredited Training Organization , Critical Path organizes both the training seminars, as well as the examinations for both levels of the Change Management certification:
Foundation: The goal of the exam is to show the candidate that he understands the concepts, terms, principles, models, approaches and roles of Change Management.
The exam has a duration of 40 minutes and consists of 50 multiple choice questions, with a pass mark of 25 questions (50%).
Practitioner: The goal of the exam is to show the candidate that he / she understands Change Management and can apply his / her principles appropriately to a specific scenario. This scenario describes the background and the current state of an agency undergoing change as well as the change that is under way.
The exam is open-book, has a duration of 2.5 hours consisting of 4 groups of 20 multiple-choice questions, while the pass mark is 40 questions (50%). There are no prerequisites for giving the Foundation a test, and for the Practitioner you must have passed the Foundation. It is emphasized that all Change Management Practitioners must be re-certified every 3-5 years after the initial certification through a brief review.
