The main goal of this seminar is to help participants prepare properly for the Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP®) certification, of the Project Management Institute ( PMI®).
The Agile approach to project management is gaining more and more recognition: its basic principles are codified in the Agile Manifesto of 2001 and implemented with methodologies such as Scrum, Extreme Programming, Kanban, DSDM etc.
This seminar presents all aspects of the Agile approach, covering both the agile tools and techniques (50% of the exam) and the 43 knowledge and skills that make up the remaining 50% of the exam.

Yiannis Vithynos, El. Mech. NTUA, MSc. He is a certified instructor for the new PMP program! He has almost two decades with many thousands of hours of experience in teaching PMP training programs, from the 2nd edition to the current 6th edition of the PMBOK Guide and the exam content outline for PMP 2021.
He was a member of the core review team for the 7th edition of the PMBOK Guide that will be released in 2021. He was also a speaker at the PMI Virtual Experience Series in August 2020. He volunteers with various activities of the PMI Education Foundation. / p>
He has many years of work experience in the Management of complex telecommunications and IT projects in Greece and the Balkans. He also has experience from agile projects in software development. He is the founder of Critical Path Consulting & amp Training, a company that for 15 years deals exclusively with training and consulting services in Project Management, while he is a Registered Education Provider since 2010!
He is certified Project Manager Professional (PMP) ® and Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) ® by the Project Management Institute (PMI) ®, has the certifications PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner, as well as IPMA-D and PM2 Advanced certifications . He also holds the Change Management Practitioner certification.
He was a member of the 1st elected Board of Directors of the Greek branch of PMI, while he was also a member of the organizing committee of the 1st Project Management Conference in Athens in November 2006. He is also a member of the Hellenic Member Association of IPMA and a project evaluator for IPMA World Project Excellence Award.
The seminar is aimed at those who wish to participate in the PMI exams for the PMI-ACP certification. It is also aimed at those who want a more systematic and practical acquaintance with Agile methodologies.
According to the PMI, the requirements for participation in the ACP exams are (for those with a bachelor's degree or higher) at least 12 months (2000 hours) of general professional experience in project teams over the last 5 years and 8 months (1500 hours) experience in Agile teams in the last 2 years. The requirement for 2000 hours of general experience in project teams does not exist for those who are already PMP certified.
Also, at least 21 hours of Agile training (PDU) are required - covered by this tutorial.
